SPACES BETWEEN
In choreographing "Spaces Between," John Castagna, artistic director of The Ballet Collective, laid out the dances based on various tracks from Mark Mercury's "The Art of Space" CD. Mercury, to make the score, then blended those tracks into a new musical suite.
As explained in the opening titles of the video, the dancers represent the four elements that make up the material universe: water, fire, air, and earth. The dances depict the interaction of these elements.
